Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to in the pop world, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where, with three other students, he formed his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, they also participated in the 2010 Battle of Bands. He always showed an interest in music. However, he was enthused to be the next lawyer or physical therapy. In order to support the needs of his children, he worked some time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 in The X Factor. It was for this reason the band split up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that began in the year 2010. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the competition. The band was in the third place after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and were the winners. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
