Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd day of July in 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. As a teenager, she made her debut in the music scene winning local competitions as early as 10 years old, and recorded her first album when she was 14 years old. The year 1985 saw her signing with Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. The album was also a part of the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she still performs. Later, in 1989 her debut solo album debuted together with them.
