Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka. She's an actress and model and model who has worked primarily within the Indian film industry. Jacqueline Fernandez is an 2007 Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Her family is multiracial, comprised of Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian heritage, Fernandez spent the early part of her life in Bahrain. Following her mass communications degree at the University of Sydney, she worked as a reporter in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for a few years prior to getting into the model industry. In 2006 she made her debut as Miss Universe and became one the most popular models in Sri Lanka. As of 2009, on her professional trip to India, she landed the part as Jasmine in Sujoy's film "Aladin" by SujoyGhosh'. In 2011 she was scouted for the character of Priya who played the female lead of "Murder 2". The film became a commercial and critical hit creating a lucrative professional career path for Fernandez. In the years since, she has appeared in films like Housefull 2 & 3, "Race 2", "Definition Of Fear" as well as Judwaa 2. She has been the ambassador for numerous companies and has been awarded multiple awards. An active member of the community She supports a variety of charitable organizations and a number of causes.
